The following policy is directed to users who access and consult the website in accordance with Art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, "Personal Data Protection Code" and Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "General Data Protection Regulation".
The policy is provided exclusively for, and not for any other external websites users may access via links.


Data Controller

Silicon Tech Srl, with headquarters in Via I Maggio 6, 45010 Gavello (RO), is responsible for the operation of this site. Cristina Maria Hotiu, acting as Data Controller, guarantees security, confidentiality, and protection of personal data at all stages of data processing. Personal data are used in accordance with the Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Regulation (UE) 2016/679.


The purposes of processing

During their normal operation, computer systems and software procedures that are responsible for the website operation, collect some personal data whose transmission is embedded in Internet communication protocols.
All these personal data are not collected to specifically identify individuals, but by their very nature, may lead to their identification through processing and association with data held by third parties.
This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers accessing the site, the addresses of the requested resources in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation, the time and method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file returned by server, the numerical code indicating the response status from the server (success, error...), and other parameters related to user's operating system and it’s computing environment.
These data are gathered to acquire anonymous statistics on site usage, and to supervise its proper functioning. Data are deleted after processing.
In the event of hypothetical cybercrimes against the site, data might be used to determine responsibility.


Legal ground for processing personal data

Technical cookies are used in personal data processing in the legitimate interest of the Data Controller. Analytical cookies are used only with the user’s consent.


Personal data recipients

No data or personal information are disclosed to third parties. Eventually, and as far as strictly necessary, some data may be provided to those who act as service providers for the management of the website, for the management of the contractual relationship, and to fulfil the related administrative procedures.


Transfer of personal data

The Data Controller does not transfer personal data to third countries nor to international organizations.


Retention of personal data

The data controller retains data for the amount of time required to collect statistical anonymous information on website usage, to assess the correct functioning of the website, and for the stated purposes. Data are deleted immediately after processing.



No users’ personal data are intentionally collected on this site. The website does not use cookies to transmit personal data, nor does use any type of persistent cookies, i.e tracking systems. We remind that users can block cookies at any time directly from their browsers, or simply deny the consent to the use of cookies at the moment they are being received.


Data provided voluntarily

This site collects the sender's email address, which is necessary to respond to requests, and also other personal data submitted within the message. Except for the automatically-collected data (navigation data), data are gathered upon optional, explicit, and voluntary submission of email to the addresses provided on this site, or by filling out the forms.
For this purpose, users will be asked to read and acknowledge this privacy policy and to provide consent. Moreover, any summary information will be progressively listed or displayed on the website pages that are set up for particular services upon request.


Data subjects’ rights

According to Art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Articles of Regulation (EU) 2016/679: Art.15- “Right of access by the data subject”, Art. 16- “Right to rectification”, Art. 17- “Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)”, Art. 18- “Right to restriction of processing”, Art. 20- “Right to data portability”, Art. 21- “Right to object”, and Art. 22 – “Automated individual decision-making, including profiling”, data subject’s rights be exercised by writing to the Data Controller at the above-cited address. The data subject may also send an email specifying the subject of his request, the right that needs to be exercise, and attaching a copy of an identity document stating legitimacy of the request.


Consent withdrawal

According to Article 23 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and Art. 7of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, data subjects may withdraw consent at any time.


Right to lodge a complaint

Data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority within the state of residence.


Right to refuse data processing

Data subject may deny consent to navigation data processing. Cookies can be disabled by changing the browser settings, but this can put limits to the navigation experience and inhibit the site’s functionalities.


Automated decision making processes

Personal data processing is not carried out with automated means.
